The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary

This is something I have been meaning to do for months. The Legend of Zelda franchise is one of my favorites in gaming and this year it turned 30. If it was time keeping me from doing this drawing it was hesitation. In the past, every time I tried to draw Link or Zelda they never look right. Though with the franchise turning 30, I kept telling myself I have to draw something. So I finally sat down and drew, and I did it while watching Nintendo stream of the upcoming Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

 

So here's to Zelda's 30 years of magic and adventure!

Beachy Doodles

Since I just finished another semester I have been feeling like going to beach which inspired these doodles. 

I do want to apologize for the lack of content the  past few months. As usual school keeps me really busy and this past semester I didn't have any drawing classes so I was feeling uninspired.

Neighborhood Series

 Theses drawings were a series I did in the Fall for my Drawing I class. I having been meaning to add them to the blog, just had a lot on my mind with school and family I constantly forgot.This project involved me taking picture of my neighborhood and then drawing them from the photos. For this I used gouache, watercolor pencil, wash pencil and graphite pencil with a little bit of pen.

 This one in particular is special, because I entered it in my school's student art show. It didn't win anything, but someone was interested in buying it. 

Mother of the Lumas

In honer of Mother's Day I wanted to draw the lovely Rosalina with children the Lumas.

Video Project Doodles

 These doodles were part of a self-portrait video I did for my video editing class. For my self-portrait I did speed drawing of myself doing things I loved to do. The things being working out, baking, playing video games and of course drawing. 

I would upload the actual video, but I fear copyright strikes with all the music and sound effect I used in the video.
