Witch Self

In celebration of Halloween I decided to draw some monsters with likenesses inspired by some friends and family. It is because of this I drew myself as a witch.

I got a late start to this, but only because I just got my very own drawing tablet and Manga Studio 5.

2 Views of a Spiral Shell

Just a drawing assignment from my Drawing II class. We had to bring in a shell and draw it from two different views. The background was painted with coffee, the drawing of the shells were done with charcoal pencil with some white conte for highlights, and colored with watered down gouache paint,.

Moster Draw Sketches (Fall 2015)

Last night my dad and I went to my school's Monster draw. The Monster Draw is an event were we all watch an old monster movie (in our case "20 Million Miles to Earth"), pause the movie at points, and draw what we. This time we paused a lot at just the actors making goofy faces. The movie itself is supper goofy and cheesy,but definitely enjoyable.

30 Years of Mario

Here to 30 years of Super Mario!

What can I say, I love Mario games. They have brought hours of fun game-play and memories to my dad and I.

I would've upload something yesterday, but I didn't like how to original drawing turned out. So instead of uploading something I wasn't proud of, I decided to start over.

So from what I understand the original Super Mario Bros. released in Japan on September 13, 1985.

September 13 is also my Birthday.

Caricatures: Kalos Pokemon Trainers Addition

This is a personal project/request I've wanted to do for awhile.

Back when Pokemon X and Y were released my guy friend and I made a deal, I would get the X version while he got the Y version. This gave me the idea to do caricatures of us as Pokemon trainers in the Kalos region. Then I got busy with school, family and other projects that I just kept putting it to the side. Then my guy friend was asking me to do a caricature of him,I told him my idea, and finally here it is.
Also, this is 100th post!!!!

Drawing Challenge: Dark Side

This is a challenge I've been meaning to get to for months, drawing a dark version of myself. 

In some mediums, mostly video games, there is a dark version or rival of the main character/hero. Examples: Link/Dark Link, Pit/Dark Pit, Mario/Wario, Luigi/Waluigi,Sonic/Shadow,Megaman/Bass, etc.

Funny most rivals have dark hair to contrast the hero. In my case I had to do the opposite and give my rival light hair because my hair is naturally dark.

Disneyland Animation Academy Drawings

My dad and I just got back from our trip to Disneyland. During the trip we went to the Disney Animation Academy  in California Adventure and did some drawing.We ended up with a few, because during the last day of our trip it rained. What better to escape the rain then drawing cartoon characters?
